This is something I been wanting to do for a long time. Wife wanted me to build her a bed frame so I figured this was my chance to throw some extra lumber on the cart. You know, for labor expenses! I decided to do it on a slab. It will be approximately 3.5x3.5x6ft. Made out of knotted pine tongue and groove.

Ye[p I know a guy who built one of the same stuff except he made it so it could be taken apart. He takes it to the bigger shoots. It looks kinda like an out house but works very well.

Form: I used 2x6s and put a 1x4 around the top to make a lip for the house to sit in. I made my rebar support in the shape of a "v" so that I could have the fire further down , make it self feeding, and a wash out. I passed a pipe in it for a drain and vent. There will be a layer of mesh above and below the rebar for extra strength. Not sure how the cement will hold up to the heat but if it cracks it shouldn't be too bad with all the support. I used 10 80# bags of quickcrete. photo 886F0244-1D3B-49C5-AAD4-153F016C4BAE_zps9r07asqm.jpg

Got the 4 walls made. Drilled 1/2 inch holes in 2x4s then ripped so I'd have a place for the 1/2inch rods to sit at many different positions to hang meat or support pans, trays or grates. photo D61B070A-DE7F-403B-91E2-F3D05A7D5181_zpsoin5vxuz.jpg photo 48968383-CBCC-4768-9B61-A4093FB7C0FE_zps5idt4lmc.jpg photo E58C2172-6E7D-4DB9-8BCB-517679949639_zpsb9fhril3.jpg
