Found a strip of hot oak trees. The deer sign was unbelievable on them. As my luck would have it I hunted the wrong tree and watched them feed all evening 50 yards away. Next evening I moved to where they were and as my luck would go they went to the tree I was on the evening before. Finally a few straggled my way and I got a 5 yard shot down on a big nanny. Made a good drain hole low on exit and had buckets of lung blood for 150 yards. Then I think she ran out of blood and still went another 50. She was a tough ol girl. photo F0E725ED-82DF-4CB6-846B-B67EF622A281_zps5ppj4uq9.jpg

Way to go, Jason. You're getting really good at this "trad stuff". :)
